ICMLS Awards: Honouring Excellence Since 2017

Since its inception in 2017, the ICMLS Awards have established a proud tradition of recognising excellence, leadership, and innovation within the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) community. Instituted by the Indian Confederation of Medical Laboratory Science (ICMLS), these awards reflect our enduring commitment to elevating professional standards, celebrating distinguished contributions, and inspiring future generations of laboratory professionals.

The ICMLS Awards span multiple categories, including:

·     Leadership in Organizational Strengthening

·     Lifetime Achievement in Medical Laboratory Science

·     Young Scientist Recognition for Clinical Research

·     Research Grant Support for Diagnostic Innovation

Each award is conferred through a rigorous and transparent selection process led by the ICMLS Search cum Screening Committee. Nominations are invited from ICMLS members who exemplify the highest standards of service, scientific merit, and professional integrity.

These honours are more than ceremonial- they represent the collective aspirations of a profession rooted in precision, service, and public health impact. By spotlighting exemplary individuals and supporting research initiatives, ICMLS continues to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration across India’s medical laboratory science landscape.
